  1. After School Program


    Our After School program provides arts enrichment and life skills training for 4th through 12th grade students . Participants will focus on arts disciplines such as Poetry, Hip Hop, Dance, Photography, and Fashion along with life skills training in areas such as leadership development, career planning, and diversity. Our students will also participate in community service projects/volunteerism, showcase their talents to the community, compete in competitions, & attend field trips.

  2. Workshops


    1. Inclusive Environment Building.
      Circular Flow provides trainings (for adult educators of 4-12th grade aged youths) that focus on developing an inclusive environment for their students. During the workshop participants will get a chance to learn & develop practical methods to include students through hands on and lecture oriented sessions. Sessions vary from 1 to 3 hrs.
    2. Hip Hop/Life Skills Training.
      Students will explore Hip-Hop through hands on application, which may include writing songs, reading/researching relevant material, recording lyrics & producing and recording music. Participants will examine the evolution of Hip-Hop and its impact on themselves and society. In addition, students will also examine their place in Hip-Hop and how to utilize Hip-Hop for self/social awareness, self/social responsibility, and entrepreneurship. Sessions can run up to a minimum of 1.5 hours, and a maximum of 6 months at a time.
  3. One to one mentoring


    Circular Flow provides one to one mentoring to assist 4-12th grade aged youths interested in a career in Hip Hop namely Rap, Dance, Visual Art, Poetry, and Fashion. Sessions vary from 1 to 3 hrs.

  4. Community Service


    Periodically we provide a small scholarship to assist a deserving youth who is in school, holds a 2.5 GPA, working or in school within the arts, doing work within the community and is able to submit a essay about the worth and value of arts education. Additionally, we provide school supplies to assist a select group of metro Detroit students.
